The Space Shuttle Commemorative Pen & Coin set was designed as a cherished memento to the dedicated individuals involved in the space shuttle program as well as a keepsake to remember the remarkable technological advancements developed during the past 30 years.
Back in 1967, after over two years of rigorous testing by NASA, the Space Pen was selected for use by the astronauts of Apollo 7 and has been used on all manned space flights since then. The Shuttle Space Pen is the next installment to our line of Astronaut pens; it was introduced during the Space Shuttle Program and is the current pen of choice of the astronauts on the ISS today.
The shuttle pen is proudly produced in the USA! Each is made of solid brass with hard chrome plating. The shuttle pen is thinner and lighter than its predecessor the AG7, with a slightly more sleek and modern appearance. It features a unique clicking mechanism that extends the point via the button on the top, with a release button on the side to retract it. This side button has a substantial sound and feel to it, ensuring that you will always remember to retract the point before sliding the pen back into your pocket.

If your Fisher Space Pen or your Fisher Space Pen Cartridge malfunctions, please send your item and all parts to us for repair or replacement via USPS 1st Class Mail.
Upon receipt, your Fisher Space Pen product will be thoroughly inspected by our Quality Control Department to determine the cause of the malfunction. Upon completion your repair or replacement will ship via standard shipping within three weeks at no cost to you. (During the holiday season from Thanksgiving through the New Year, this time period may be extended to four weeks from date of receipt)
To return your item, please print the Warranty Instructions and include with your shipment or follow the instructions below: Securely package the item in a small box. (Please be advised that USPS postal equipment tears ordinary envelopes containing rigid items and unprotected items may be lost/damaged. We cannot be responsible for an item that is lost or damaged due to inadequate packaging and recommend that you insure your shipment in case of loss in transit.)
