The Batman: Limited Edition is issued as editions of 330 rollerball pens: supplied with a lacquered wooden desk stand cut in the shape of a bat. Custom packaging is also solid wood, embellished with the official The Batman logo.
The pen’s octagonal profile is an elaborate reworking of the Extra Otto – a writing instrument we would expect billionaire Bruce Wayne to own. Key design elements echo the form and function of his new Batsuit: angled armour plating with flat, industrial finishes and integrated utility. A spring-loaded pocket clip is inspired by the superhero’s signature grapple gun, and five grappling hooks are mounted at the rear of the cap. Cap cladding modelled on Batman’s gauntlet – a key element in his new arsenal that features the Montegrappa logo.
